Steps to making Banana Milk Coffee
Let’s get started with our cold brew, which is super simple. Here I have a mason jar, and then I have two tablespoons of my favorite coffee.
You should use a coarse grind for that; a coarse grind is better for cold brew. Now, just add the coarse coffee grounds to the jar.
Then have 2 cups of water and, pour directly into the jar, fill it to the top. Then with a spoon, give it a quick stir to ensure all the coffee grounds are moistened. Then just cap it and at this point, either let it sit on the counter or put it in my fridge for about 4 hours to overnight.
Here I have one that I already made last night, and let me tell you that this is how it looks; the coffee grounds kind of sucked to the bottom because it really absorbed all of the liquid, and you can see how concentrated this looks. Now, have two mason jars now. Add a strainer on top of it and divide it into two pots.
After the above few steps, coffee is pretty much made at this point. Now I am going to tell you how to make our banana milk. It’s so creamy and delicious to make our banana milk. It’s really simple. I have one ripe banana that I will just add to the blender.
Then have two teaspoons of maple syrup, just for a little added sweetness, a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract, and finally, one cup of milk. Now you guys can use almond milk or coconut milk. It’s really up to you. It will taste delicious with anything you like; close the lid and give it a whirl. Done.
Lift it up. This would be like a milkshake and a coffee mixed together, except it is not so icy. It’s just nice and thick and so good, all right. I am going to pour this into our glasses now.
All right, and that’s it. That is our banana milk coffee. Let’s try one for me, maybe, and cheers, guys. If you guys want it to be super cold, I would add ice in here, but I like it just like this; the cold brew was already icy from being in the refrigerator, and the milk is just creamy, and I really taste that hint of banana, and it’s just sweet enough.
Oh man, I hope you guys this recipe a try and let me know what you think. Also, I want to know your favorite fall coffee drinks because I would love to recreate them for a coffee break.
